As a Unit Manager with us, you lead the work to create a consolidated and efficient Service Card Service Unit. You have personnel, budget, and operational responsibility.
Your team consists of assistants, support technicians, and system administrators.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating the Service Card Service operations.
- Coaching two teams of engaged employees to achieve operational goals.
- Managing relevant systems within the operations.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including regional and national networks for digitalization.
You are responsible for the unit's operations, economy (budget), personnel and working environment issues, processes, agreements, and quality.
QualificationsWe are looking for you who have a university degree in a relevant field. You have several years of experience in security issues, with experience in service card management being an advantage. You must have documented leadership experience and be confident in leading work groups and making decisions based on the best interests of the operations.
The role requires you to be a proficient IT user and to master Swedish very well in both speech and writing.
You have an ability to create overviews, are driven, and comfortable making decisions. Your new role involves collaboration both internally and externally, which requires you to be outgoing and have an easy time connecting with people. You are positive and secure in your leadership, developing your employees and operations through participation and collaboration. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
To succeed in the role, you need the following:
- Good ability to create good collaboration spaces.
- Good knowledge of system administration (access control systems).
- Good knowledge of identity management (IAM).
- Good knowledge in the area of technical security.
- Good knowledge of how public administration is organized.
- Good pedagogical competence.
Additional merits include:
- Long experience working in a support organization.
- Experience driving development projects within administration and IT.
- Experience with procurement and other contract-related tasks.
- Experience with information security and access control.

About the OperationsThe Operations and Service Department is Borås Municipality's internal resource for Property Operations and Operational Services. The department consists of two work manager areas.
As a Unit Manager with us, you lead the work to create a consolidated and efficient Service Card Service Unit. You have personnel, budget, and operational responsibility.
Since our operations are conducted according to a buyer/provider concept, where the Service Office is the provider, you will act as a representative with a strong customer focus and ensure that the unit can meet the requirements set forth in agreements with our buyers.
You continuously work with operational follow-ups and collaborate with internal and external contacts in the form of buyers and customers. You report to your nearest manager, who is the Work Manager.
Future development issues will revolve around the further development of the buyer/provider concept, business and operational matters, staffing, and economy.
